At the Clinton Foundation, we’re guided by the belief that everyone deserves the chance to live his or her best life story. In 2015, as in every year, we worked to create opportunities for people around the world to write better stories and build stronger futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Whether increasing opportunities for girls and women, giving people in the developing world a path to work themselves out of poverty, or improving health and wellness in the United States and around the world, our programs are designed to change lives today and provide replicable models for future action. This year, we’re proud of the better stories that people wrote for themselves – such as the farmers in El Salvador’s remote highlands who have gained access to new markets and seen their incomes rise; the rural communities in Kenya that are beginning to feel the benefits of greener, reforested landscapes; and the students in the United States who are healthier because they have access to better foods and physical activities after school.

We’ve been joined in this work by partners from all around the world, including governments, businesses, philanthropies, and other NGOs, all committed to working together in inclusive networks of cooperation until our help is no longer needed. We are also fortunate to have hundreds of thousands of supporters who share our belief in a better future and have made our programs possible.

This report lays out the progress we have made in 2015. We measure and demonstrate the impact of our programs so that we and others across the globe can draw lessons for the future.

However, even more important to us are the stories behind those numbers – the people whose lives have been touched thanks to our supporters, partners, and dedicated staff and volunteers around the world. We hope you will appreciate the opportunity to meet some of the people behind this progress, and see why we believe a more inclusive, more equitable, and more sustainable world is within our reach.
